ABOUT
In a hidden pocket of smokescreen and haze lies Aquila Young. Cast in deep shadows with an alluring presence, the artist echoes the past in a nostalgic escape. Small and fragile with instinctive electric flair, she merges an array of sounds to form the motions between soul and song. Her name is Latin and translates to the eagle; a living display of vulnerable plight through piercing eyes of steel. In the colder months an invigoration transpires, reinforced by the shared origin of name with the ancient Roman God of the north wind. It was known that the north wind would bring in the cold air from the mountain summits to introduce the winter landscape. With tones of light and shade inhabiting the sonic spectrum, therein lies the love for the eternal winter.
